Already the hottest happy hour destination in the Central West End, our newest Lester’s was custom made for this sophisticated neighborhood of cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes. The sleek interior décor, with its woven leather chairs and dozens of HD flat screens, is head-and-shoulders above any sports bar you’ve ever laid eyes on. But this is just the beginning. Wait’ll you step foot on the gorgeous rooftop patio with its stunning views of brownstones and tree-lined streets—and, yes, even more flat screens for watching the big game. As you’d expect, the menu offerings are spectacular, featuring authentic, homemade New York deli-style sandwiches, barbecue delicacies like pulled pork, smoked beef brisket and turkey breast and many new lighter fare and vegetarian selections. Perfect for a family brunch or client lunch. With a happy hour that lasts until 10 pm, Monday through Thursday, and all of our great food and beverages it’s easy to see why Lester’s in the CWE has become a neighborhood mainstay.

I have been to this Lester's location numerous times, however the service we received last weekend was outstanding. We were there to watch the Mizzou football game and sat at a high-top bar table. Blake was our server, and probably was the most attentive and best server I have ever had at any eating establishment in St. Louis. He made connections with his tables, and was friendly and super attentive and helpful. I will definitely be back again, but will be asking to sit in Blake's section if he is working!
I popped in the day before Thanksgiving for the first time and had a wonderful experience. This was absolutely the type of restaurant/bar the CWE was previously lacking. I'll dub it classy sports bar. LOTS of TVs on the walls and individual TVs at the bar top tables. Diverse menu (limited for vegetarians, but still options). Good beer options on tap. We had great service when we were there. I know this place gets really crowded on game days, but I'll absolutely try and return.
